Potato, green lentil and Veggie-loaded Burgers

The perfect burger for the entire family! Great with a side of sweetcorn or peas!

Potato, green lentil and veggie loaded burgers



  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Turmeric
  • Mushrooms
  • Potato
  • Courgette
  • Tin cooked green lentils
  • Coriander
  • Dried Herbs 
  • 1 small Onion diced
  • 1 Garlic minced
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 3-4 Mushrooms finely chopped
  • 1 Large Potato mashed
  • 1/4 finely chopped Courgette
  • 1/4 Tin cooked green lentils
  • 1 tsp dried/fresh Coriander
  • 1 tsp Dried Herbs 
  • olive oil
      • Saute the onion and garlic with olive oil for 2 minutes until cooked

      • Add in the mushrooms, courgette and turmeric and cook for a further 5 minutes
      • Next add in the green lentil and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
      • Add this mixture to the mashed potato.
      • Add the dried herbs and coriander and mix. 
      • Create palm sized burgers.
      • Place onto a tray lined with baking powder, spray with olive oil
      • Place in the oven at 200 degrees for 15 minutes or until cooked. 
      • Serve in a soft and fluffy burger bun with a side of sweetcorn and peas.
