A noodle dish for the whole family. Let your little choose the veggies (trust me it will be easier at meal time)

Toddler Friendly Chinese Noodles

 SHOPPING LIST

 

  • Sesame oil
  • Olive Oil
  • Garlic 
  • Rice Noodles
  • Veggies of choice ( we had stem broccoli, baby-corn, edamame beans and tofu)
  • Reduced salt soya sauce (optional)
Ingredients
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1-2 cloves of Garlic minced
  • Rice Noodles
  • Veggies of choice ( we had stem broccoli, baby-corn, edamame beans and tofu)
  • 1 tsp Reduced salt soya sauce (optional)
      Method
      • Heat the sesame and olive oil in a pan

      • Add the minced garlic and shallow fry
      • Next add the veggies and tofu ( chop finely to reduce choking if your little one is less than 12 months) and cook for a further 5-8 mins (add a couple of spoon of water)
      • Add the noodles and cook for 3 mins. ( I preferred to cut the noodles into slightly smaller pieces to help with eating)
      • Add the soya sauce (optional) and stir.
      • Serve warm

      For Adults- add extra soya sauce and 1 tsp of gochujang paste and mix.
