Beetroot Bliss Balls

  • Frozen/fresh beetroot
  • Peanut butter 
  • Carob/maple syrup (optional)
  • Oats
  • Melted Chocolate (optional)
  • Mixed seeds
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup diced, steamed and pureed Frozen/fresh beetroot
  • 1 tbsp Peanut butter 
  • 1 tbsp Carob/maple syrup (optional)
  • 50g rolled roughly blended Oats
  • Melted Chocolate (optional)
  • Mixed seed powder (seeds blended to a powder)
      Method
      • Steam the betroot for approx 15-20mins and then puree it 

      • Add the pureed beetroot, oats, seed powder, peanut butter and syrup (optional) into a mixing bowl
      • Mix together until a sticky dough forms- (you may need to add more beetroot puree/water if the dough is too dry, if too wet add more oats). 
      • Roll into balls - (to make into cookies- place the balls onto a baking tray, press each ball down with a fork and cook for 8 mins at 200 degrees)
      • Drizzle with melted chocolate 
      • Store in the fridge.
